The TM130M is a 3-100 minutes adjustable ON DELAY TIMER/RELAY with Memory. The relay and memory are engaged if input contacts are closed (se below) for the set delay time. The relay releases when the contacts are opened and the memory remains engaged until manually reset.

APPLICATION:

A bank of TM130M can be used to monitor status/fault conditions of unattended plant. Any unit timing out will raise an alarm which stays on as long as the input condition is maintained. If this condition ceases before an operator reaches the plant, the memory indicator will remain engaged to flag which TM130M (1 or more) timed out. The operator can then manually reset all memories.

OPERATION:

The unit is disabled until an input contact closure across terminals 1 & 2 initiates timing (yellow LED ON). Timing continues for as long as the contact remains closed. When the set time delay has expired, the relay is engaged (neon ON) and memory latch is set (red LED ON). Opening the input contact releases the relay (neon and yellow LED OFF), shorting terminals 3 & 5 releases the memory (red LED OFF). A common external button can be used to reset all TM130M memories. This sequence of operations is summarised in the following waveforms.

NOTE: Unit timing is started by closing of terminals 1 &2. Alternatively terminals 3 & 4 can be opened to start timing - for this option permanently short terminals 1 & 2.

• RED NEON relay engaged - unit timed out
